Hawk Performance to Offer 2008 Contingencies to NASA Racers
RICHMOND, CA (Apr 17, 2008) —
The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Hawk Performance has become the "official brake products of NASA" for the 2008 season. As part of this new partnership, Hawk Performance has launched a substantial national contingency program that will benefit NASA's entire membership. In addition to all regional events, Hawk will provide significant contingency programs for the National Championships at Mid Ohio and the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
"NASA has become a major force in the North American motorsports market" stated Carl Harbert, Director of Global Marketing, "'We are very excited to be associated with such a professionally run operation whose growing membership represents what is truly unique and powerful about American grassroots racing." Jerry DeMarino, Director of Performance Products added "Considering our dominate position with the NASA community, we felt it was important to show our support and create a means to educate new racers about the significant advantages of our brake pad products."
NASA estimates that the 2008 Hawk Performance contingency program is worth over $600,000 in cash and "Hawk Bucks" and is immediately available for all NASA competitors to enjoy. For more information on the Hawk Performance contingency program, please visit NASA's main website at www.drivenasa.com.
